We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing key market information, as well as identifying areas of improvement to increase company revenue and brand. The Social Media Marketing Specialist will also conceptualize and execute tactics that build audience participation and improve the awareness of Merle Norman via various social media networks.  This person will also be responsible to serve as back up for all eNews postings which provide the Studio Owners with timely updates, news and information from Home Office.


Create and maintain social media calendar based on marketing calendar

Manage and maintain partnership and use of third party social media management platform

Create, schedule and post content daily to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.  Post frequently to YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and other networks as needed.

Create monthly reports to draw insights on last interactions and adjust content, posting time schedules, etc. to maximize reach

Provide social media support to Studio Owners via phone/email

Perform analysis of market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats

Development and implement innovative marketing campaigns

Translate complex data into simple graphs and text

Compile and present data for other departments

Work with Production Artist to ensure Studios receive updated/correctly sized images for all social media platforms

Any other task as assigned to assist company in meeting its goals.



College Degree

2+ years previous experience in market research, social media and copywriting

Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data collection

Ability to write product positioning statements, develop presentation materials and write professional, effective and appropriate correspondence

Ability to read and interpret

documents such as communication strategies, safety rules, technology briefings, vendor quotes, customer/consumer correspondence, etc.

Ability to work well in teams
